Masks must be worn in the building at all times, including hallways, dressing rooms and auditorium/theater.
Dancers will be allowed to remove their mask backstage for their performance only.

The change in the Utah Mask mandate does not apply to MASS EVENTS and April 2021 competition is in Salt Lake City, where they have continued to mandate masks.

Those that are asked more than once to replace their mask will be asked to leave the venue. We are considered a "Mass Event", please help us make this a safe and fun event for all of our dancers!



EVERYONE must check-in at the main entrance and given a wristband. Once you have a wristband, you will not need to check in again (this includes Friday performers returning Saturday) 
Dancers will be given a temperature check as well as health screening questions.

If you answer YES to any of these questions, please do not attend BOLD Dance Competition. 
We will refund anyone who needs to quarantine or is turned away due to health screening.

  • Have you been in close contact with someone who has tested POSITIVE for COVID-19 in the last 10 days?
  • Have you traveled outside of Utah in the last 14 days?
  • Do you have any cold or flu-like symptoms?
  • Do you have any new or worsening cough or shortness of breath?



Masks must still be worn in the theater since we are considered a "Mass Event".
If you move a chair to sit with your group, please replace it when you are done.

Audience is limited to 3 per dancer. 

Please only eat in designated areas or outside where distancing can be maintained. NO FOOD IN THE DRESSING ROOM.



We will be periodically sanitizing high-touch areas throughout the event. Please utilize the hand sanitizer available.


Dressing Room

Dressing room is a shared space in the church building adjacent to The Union. 

BOYS dressing room is backstage left.

MASKS must be worn in the dressing room.

NO FOOD in the dressing room.

Please do not touch any of the instruments in the dressing rooms or get onto the "stage".


Rehearsal Floor

A rehearsal floor will be in the parking lot between the dressing room and venue. Please be courteous of other groups waiting to use the floor.
